New Year without champagne is like Santa Claus without gifts. It seems to be - but something is not right. However, choosing good champagne in Russia is not easy. The market is oversaturated with various brands, some of which are ordinary wine, carbonated with carbon dioxide from cylinders. With real sparkling wines, such a “champagne” was just lying nearby.
So that your New Year holiday is not overshadowed by an unpleasant taste, we have compiled top 10 best champagne wines of 2018 according to Roskachestvo. The total score is indicated (on a 5-point scale). All the studied samples passed strict selection according to the rules specified in the regulations of the World Organization of Grapes and Wine and in the corresponding Russian GOSTs.
